Vintage Marmet Saks Fifth Ave Baby Carriage Pram
Made in England
Purchased at Saks Fifth Ave NYC in 1968.
Condition
—Has brand new navy blue leather suspension straps from England.
—Body is in very good condition. There is one area that is scraped close to the underside. See third picture.
—Interior is clean and free of stains, dank odors, rips and tears.
—Metal hardware on one side of hood (1) needs cap and (2) doesn’t push down as it should. Hood still stays up as other side functions perfectly well.
—Tires show wear.
—Brake pads show wear and are no longer supple but still work fine.

—Marmet mattress (available new on eBay for approx )
—Mattress cover (available new on eBay for approx )
—If you want to dress it up, a bright white padded interior liner (available new on eBay for approx )
(Please note that even if you find a vintage pram with an original mattress, it would behoove you to replace it with a new one for sanitary reasons.)
