CLEANING OUT A RELATIVES GARAGE AND CAME ACROSS THIS PIECE.  NO ONE SEEMS TO REMEMBER WHAT ITS INTENDED PURPOSE IS/WAS SO YOU'LL SURELY HAVE TO BE THE EXPERT HERE.  CAN'T FIND ANY MARKINGS ON THIS ANYWHERE AND NOT GOING TO OPEN IT UP TO LOOK FURTHER.
STANDS APPROX. 8 1/2" TALL WHEN SETTING ON A TABLE.  NOT SURE HOW THE HANDLE WAS USED??  IT SURELY WAS NEVER USED AROUND SALT WATER AS IT IS BASICALLY RUST FREE.  DO NOT KNOW IF IT IS ELECTRIC OR BATTERY OPERATED BUT SURELY LOOKS TO BE FUNCTIONAL.  AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED, IT DOES HAVE A CARRY HANDLE BUT LOOKS AS THOUGH THIS MOUNTS TO SOMETHING ELSE (SEE PHOTOS).  GLOBE IS HEAVY GLASS AND HAS NO DAMAGE.  BE SURE TO CHECK OUT ALL THE PHOTOS.
