Passageway Ceiling Light
This small EH brass single conduit caged passageway ceiling light. EH is prominently marked on the top of both sides of the brass housing, while IP56 is marked on one side of the conduit hole. These lights are usually used as ceiling lights for different passageways throughout the ship.
Navigation lights alert other vessels of your positioning. The red indicates port side of a boat. The green light indicates starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the stern.
This vintage brass light measures 7 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide. The globe is in great shape with only a few minor scratches. It has two mount lugs which will require a mounting space about 4 inches wide. The original single conduit opening has a brass plug installed. This light weighs around 3 pounds.
UL Certified:
We have rewired these nautical lights, including a ground wire, with a new UL-Listed bulb fixture that is rated for up to 250 volts. The new bulb holder takes a medium base bulb of 75 watts or less.
To access the socket just unscrew the cage and lift the globe.
