ITEM: Original WWI Committee on Public Information Photo of US 20th ENGINEERS LOGGING with CRANE in France, 1918. RARE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC INFORMATION WARTIME PHOTO. During the war the Committee on Public Information was ubiquitous in American life; today very few of its photos or pamphlets survive. This is a Signal Corps photo that the CIC added a caption to. RARE!!
