VERY GOOD+ Condition, nicely backed, with multiple visible pinholes. Natural edgewear, ROLLED, so NO fold wear, but minor surface blemishes, naturally appropriate, given its age. See photo. Linen border is 1-2 inches outside poster border. Director, ROGER CORMAN, acquired rights, and edited & dubbed into VOYAGE TO THE PREHISTORIC PLANET for a 1965 USA release. This edited film with added Russian footage was made into VOYAGE TO THE PLANET OF PREHISTORIC WOMEN in 1968, also by Corman.     1962. Directed and Co-Written by : Pavel Klushantsev - PLOT SUMMARY : Cosmonauts land on the planet Venus. However, they find themselves in danger from the voracious monsters they find on it. Released in the US in 1965 (TV syndication) as "Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet" (1965), dubbed in English. New, brief scenes with Basil Rathbone and Faith Domergue were shot and edited onto the Russian original. Curtis Harrington directed and wrote new scenes and dialogue, with ROGER CORMAN as Exective Producer. This new movie (and more Russian inserts) were turned into "Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women" in 1968, with new scenes directed by future superstar auteur, PETER BOGDANOVICH (aka Derek Thomas), who also narrates. This filmed starred 1960s sex bomb MAMIE VAN DOREN, while ROGER CORMAN, Produced.
