There are also a few dings and bits of paper loss in the top white border, not affecting the artwork. Printed on a thin paper stock and irregularly folded, it presents very well as displayed. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored folded for the past 21 years and will be shipped folded in a rigid envelope mailer.

    Here is an original 1st release Spanish One-Sheet movie poster from the third filmed version of Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel,

    Phantom Of The Opera
    . Directed by Terence Fisher, this film was originally set to star Cary Grant who bowed out before production began. Though not a big box office success for Hammer, it is still highly regarded by many die hard Hammer fans. This poster is from a first release Spanish language exhibition of the
    movie in 1962. The artwork is by Emerio and mimics the art used in the original UK quad poster. It seldom comes up for sale or auction and is much rarer than the smaller Spanish herald that sometimes appears for sale.
