What's New
The outsole was updated with a more aggressive lug pattern for better traction on a variety of trail surfaces.
The outsole rubber was replaced with Vibram Megagrip rubber which provides long-lasting grip on wet and dry surfaces.
The upper received minor updates but feels very similar to the 910 v4.
Building on the success of the 910 v4, the New Balance Summit K.O.M. continues to use the same responsive RevLite midsole cushioning and Rock Stop rock plate.
To ensure surefootedness on ascents and descents, the K.O.M. features aggressive multidirectional lugs made up of Vibram's famous Megagrip rubber compound.
Finished off with thick overlays in the midfoot and around your toes, the K.O.M's upper offers support and breathability while protecting you from roots and rocks.
