ABS (Anti-Lock Brake Systems) systems are one of a truck's greatest tools when stopping a vehicle. ABS systems stop wheels from locking when a car begins a stop, transferring air through pressure valves and to the wheels so that drivers can still steer while braking, preventing the wheels from locking. ABS systems and their components improve all braking functions even during wet or slippery road conditions.
This Meritor WABCO ABS Quick Release Valve is for tractor ABS applications. The Quick Release valve speeds up the release of air so that brakes release faster and don't lock. This specific valve has a 3.0-4.0 PSI crack pressure and is 12 volts with a Bayonet connector type.
ABS systems and parts are under warranty for 1 year or 100,000 miles.
