    Description

    These five original WWI photos were brought home by a US Army veteran.  They range in size from 4 3/8" x 2 3/4" to 5 3/4" x 3 1/2".  Two are of French troops; one of Officers and men in a trench, and another of hundreds of German prisoners in a barbed wire enclosure guarded by French soldiers.  Two show knocked out British tanks, and another shows American soldiers with an artillery piece.  They are all in excellent condition.  The prisoner photo is marked on the back, "Verdun."  The trench photo is marked in French, entrance to the trenches.  Please see my other auctions for more items from my 60+ year collection.
