    Description

******* I make other versions of this model. Check out my Shop in the link above to see other options. *********
Made of polished stainless steel in Buffalo, New York. Bottom end is not polished as it faces inside the guitar.
Polished to a #8 (Mirrored) Stainless Steel finish. Mounting holes are countersunk at an 82 degree angle.
This is a drop in replacement tailpiece plate for Jazzmaster and Jaguar style guitars. Or possibly another style guitar that you've built with a similar style tailpiece. Installation is as easy as changing the strings.
I made these originally as a way to turn my Jaguar and Jazzmaster guitars into a hardtail model. I moved the string holes closer up as well to increase sustain and decrease the buzz commonly associated with these guitars. This creates a better break angle for the strings. I wouldn't use a word like "stop" the buzz as this ultimately depends on the setup and playing style on the guitar. For players like me who don't really use the tremolo on a guitar, this tailpiece suits my playing style.
Since it is made of stainless steel any scratches you may get on the tailpiece can be buffed/polished out. There is no plating to flake or chip off.
