'green font'
version from the Italian first release in 1966. (There is a 'red font' version.)  NOTE: The film was released later in the United States in 1968.
There's not much I can say about this classic and influential Western masterpiece that hasn't been said already, but I can tell you that this 1st release Italian poster is HIGHLY collectible, and you don't see many of these 56-year old locandinas come around in this good of a condition.  In my opinion, the artwork on this format blows away nearly every other 1st release paper on this title, including the US one sheet. This poster is still an
affordable piece compared to the much larger Italian formats, and when it
is framed (behind UV plexiglass in a 1 1/2" black matte frame) it doesn't demand a lot of wall space.
When displayed, it will be an absolute jaw dropper to any cinephile who walks into your home or work space!
Condition:
VERY FINE and displays in really excellent condition. The poster itself measures
measures 12 1/8" x 27" inches, and with the linen edge it measures 13 9/16" x 28 9/16" inches. This poster was expertly preserved on linen with VERY minimal, "European style" restoration addressing some of the minor foxing, folding and
minor pinholes.
