Vintage 1920s hat box for a derby or top hat.
Round shell with latches at the sides and a handle at the top, and reinforced metal hinges on the base.
The silver metal latch made by the Everlasting Lock Company of New York.
Sturdy antique case, late Edwardian - early 1920s luggage that has clearly traveled its share of miles.
17.5" x 16" x 9" not including leather handle.  A great piece for decor, props, storage (not too heavy).
