Antique 1800s HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD Rattan Wicker Child / Doll / Carriage / Stroller. Measures 41” long. Back wheels are 20” round. Front ones are 12” round. Seat is 12 1/2” x 14”. Push handle height is 33”. There is one small place where Wicker is unraveling ( see picture no. 12 ), there are no other Wicker areas that need attention. Wood handle is loose, and will need glued. Leather safety strap is missing - metal mounts are there. Rolls great, tire rubber is worn off in a few spots. It is structurally excellent - 4 Screws holding the push handle on have been replaced at one time. It has the black Wakefield mfg tag on back ( see picture no 11 ). Was made very early before Heywood name was added. This great looking carriage is original and in very nice condition. For pickup only.
