ID bushings for the special hi-performance suspension that came factory on  Z28 Camaros.
These bushings are the correct factory-style for the 1970-74 Z28 Camaro.
These replacement bushings look, fit and perform exactly like the originals.
Other than the factory supplier’s branding marks, (see photos) they are indistinguishable from the original bushing in every way.
They match all stress, hardness, rubber composition and dimensional criteria of the original bushings and are a perfect replacement for worn out, original bushings. They look just like the ones used on the factory line.
To produce these bushings, the original NOS GM bushings (3983072) were sent to our local university chemistry lab for analysis. Once the original rubber composition was determined, a custom rubber products company in Indiana formulated the correct compound mix and then carefully produced the bushings to exact factory-fit specifications.
To Install:
Installation is straightforward; Lightly lubricate the sway bar and the inside of bushings. Twist back and forth to move them around the bend and into the correct position.
