1916 WWI CALAIS FRANCE GENERAL PHOTO PRESIDENT TAFT VP INVITATION VICTOR MURDOCK. Offered is a wonderful pair of items from Former Republican  Congressman and later Progressive Candidate for President Victor Murdock. There is a photo with writing on the back which reads
Mr Victor Murdock, E Montarroyos Paris 12, January 1916, Visits Ferrera De Gaurnays
. It measures 4 1/2" c 3 12" and is creased on the left side in vertical. Also included is a invitation addressed to Mr Murdock to meet to Vice President of the US, from Republican Chairman William B McKinley, I believe circa 1910, which would be VP James Schoolcraft Sherman. Invite has some soiling and wear, It measures 6 1/4"w x 8"h. A nice find.
