Here is a fascinating group of 10 original photograph image of World War I WWI squadron, biplane, P - 1 on pontoons, loaning amphibian aircraft and pilots and officers, some of which have writing on the backs identifying what and who they are, and some are stamped with identifications of who took the photographs. This fascinating group of 10 images include a before and after photograph of a supermarine spitfire British airplane, with men looking on, and some photo images are of squadrons of airplanes, in particular a group of about 10 ski airplane on a Frozen lake. This fascinating group of images came from a Peoria, Illinois, estate, evidently of an individual involved in military aircraft testing for actually involved in the 94th pursuit squadron. In particular one photograph has writing on the back indicating "P - 1 on pontoons," another has written "lieutenant williams, admiral moffett lieutenant Bettis, and Commander Wiick, this is a 95th ship." Another has "Loening Amphibian this is a 95th Pursuit Squadron ship," and one has the name "Williams Steed" written on the back. One photograph has a purple stamp indicating "This is a genuine Fox Tone picture, Fox Co., San Antonio Texas." Please review photos.
